Wild Peacock Products may periodically change these terms and you should review them often. These Terms and Conditions of Use were last updated on 1st April 2020.

These Website Terms and Conditions of Use govern the ordering, sale and delivery of Goods, and the use of the Website. These Terms and Conditions of Use and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

These Terms and Conditions of Use are binding and enforceable against every person that accesses or uses this Website. By using the Website and by clicking on the “Register” button on the Website, as may be applicable, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use.

Wild Peacock Products operates from a Monday to Friday 06h00 to 18h00, we are closed currently over weekends and public holidays.

2.1 Registration and use of the website

Only registered users may order goods on the website and must be over the age of 18 years. 

To register as a user, you must provide a unique username and password and provide certain information and personal details to Wild Peacock Products. You will need to use your unique username and password to access the website in order to purchase goods.

2.2 Conclusion of sales 

The conclusion of sale is reached once payment have been received. 

Placing goods in a wish list or shopping basket without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an order for such goods. Goods may be removed from the shopping basket if stock is no longer available. Wild Peacock Products reserves the right to adjust pricing without prior notice to its customers. 

2.2.1 Payment

We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities. All transactions are encrypted using the appropriate encryption technology in collaboration with Simply Blu, a product of Standard Bank South Africa Limited.

Payment can be made for Goods via –

Debit card; credit card and or direct bank deposit or electronic funds transfer (EFT). If you pay via direct bank deposit or electronic funds transfer, payment must be made within 5 (five) days of placing your order. Wild Peacock Products will not accept your order if payment has not been received.

We accept Master and Visa Cards. 

2.3 Availability of stock

All Goods on offer should be considered to be limited and pricing may change at any time without prior notice to you. We will take all reasonable steps to monitor stock levels and ensure that when stock is no longer available, that this is indicated on the Website. We cannot guarantee the availability of stock. When Goods are no longer available after you have placed an order, Wild Peacock Products will notify you and you will be entitled to a refund of any amount already paid by you for such Goods. 

2.4 Lead Time of delivery after the Conclusion of sales

Should orders be placed and payment be received before 10am during operating hours, then the orders will be delivered 48 hours thereafter. 

Should orders be placed and payment received after 10am during operating hours, then the order will be delivered 48 hours after next business day.

This is excluding delivery of orders to outlying areas, which will be delivered on a specific day, as indicated below

2.5 Days of Delivery and Collection of goods 

Our days of delivery are from Monday to Friday, with some area’s being delivered to on a specific day. 

The delivery days for the below areas are Monday to Friday

Atlantic Seaboard, City Bowl, Franschhoek, Helderberg, Northern Suburbs, Paarl, South Peninsula, Southern Suburbs, Stellenbosch and West Coast, up to and including Bloubergstrand

East Coast Delivery day – Wednesday 

Botriver, Caledon, Gaansbaai, Grabouw, Greyton, Hemel ne aarde, Hermanus, Kleinmond and Stanford

West Coast Delivery day – Thursday 

Atlantis, Blouberg, Darling, Hermon, Langebaan, Malmesbury, Moreesburg, Paternoster, Riebeek Kasteel, Saldanha, St Helena Bay, Veldrift, Vredenburg and Yzerfontein

Robertson Delivery Day – Thursday

Bonnieville, Mc Gregor, Montagu, Robertson, Wellington, Wolseley and Worcester

Should you wish to collect your order, you may do so from Wild Peacock Deli, located at 16 Stoffel Smit Street, Plankenbrug, Stellenbosch, between the hours 08h00 – 16h30, Monday to Friday. This must be indicated when placing your order.

2.6 Requesting Specific Times of Deliveries

We will endeavour to deliver your goods at any requested time, however these time are not guaranteed. An employee from the Wild Peacock Products office will been in contact with you to keep you updated, should there be any changes to the time of delivery you have requested. 

2.7 Cancellation of order 

Prior to delivery or your collection of the Goods, you may cancel an order at any time provided you do so before receiving a dispatch or delivery notice. After delivery or your collection of the Goods, you may return the Goods only in accordance with the Returns Policy indicated below in point 3.

3. Return Policy 

We aim for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with any of our goods, or have any questions, please contact our office and have your invoice ready.

We will refund the full price of any unsuitable goods in their original unopened packaging. Provided that have been stored at the correct temperature. 

Dry Goods – below 18 degrees 

Chilled goods – below 6 degrees

Frozen Goods – below -18 degrees 

Please contact our sales team to request a refund within 48 hours of receiving the product you wish to return. 

3.1 Incorrect item delivered or Goods damaged on arrival 

Should we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you or if the product is not as described on the website, please notify us within 48 hours. This can be done by contacting our sales team during operating hours Monday – Friday on 021 801 3663.  We will collect the product from you at no charge.

Please ensure that all goods that you wish to return are kept in their original packaging are stored at the correct temperature. We will then issue an upliftment note and collect the goods from you. Once the goods have been uplifted and inspected the refund will be processed. 

3.2 Goods missing from your delivery 

It is the customer’s responsibility to check that all the goods received match the tax invoice supplied by the driver. At the time of delivery if you notice that something is missing, please report it to the driver and note it down on the invoice. Our office will contact you to arrange delivery of the missing goods. 

4. Exchange of Information

We will not, without your express consent, use your personal information for any purpose other than as set out below:

4.1 in relation to the ordering, sale and delivery of Goods;

4.2 to inform you of new products or website features, special offers and promotions 

4.3 to improve our customer service, basket selection or your experience on our Website though customer questionnaires and surveys

Certain content, products and services available via our Website may include materials from third-parties.

Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of those sites and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services offered by third-parties.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. Please review carefully the third-party’s terms and conditions and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.
