Olmeda, Tuna – White tuna loins from the Cantabrian Sea in Olive Oil (210g)

Albacore tuna or thunnus alalunga, arrives in the Bay of Biscay, in our Cantabrian Sea Coasts, all the way from the warm waters of the Sargasso Sea. This fish can only be caught during the summer, with the help of a fishing rod, hook and bait. They are fished individually following the same techniques in order to protect the species and respecting of course the ecosystem of our sea. The back of the fish, once cooked, is canned manually with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
