This is the newly crowned Dairy Product of the Year 2019 – proof of exceptional, sustained manufacturing practices and quality control. With its beautiful ashy appearance, its soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture and creamy taste, the Ashisi deserves a place on every premium cheese board. Made using the French-style lactic acid coagulation method, this cheese is covered in white edible fungus and vegetable ash which helps curb the lactic acid.

A mould-ripened 100% goats milk chèvre, inoculated with white mould spores, encased in ash and layered with ash. Creamy – with a subtle mushroom flavour.

A plain, tangy cheese with no added foodstuffs. The distinctive green teardrop wax finish complements the strong fruity flavour. Made with a washed curd in an old fashioned gouda style.

A traditional cumin-flavoured Boerenkaas made with cows milk from the Doornkraal district in the age old Dutch way. This cheese is aged 2-3 months and flavoured with cumin seeds.
